Pattison Media’s CKPK/Vancouver has flipped from Hot AC “102.7 Now Radio” back to Alternative as “102.7 The Peak” under PD Russell James.

The station was previously 102.7 The Peak from 2015 until 2022, beginning as Triple A and later evolving to Alternative.Two years after making a detour exclusively to streaming and on HD2 in July of 2022, The Peak is back!

CKPK PD Russell James said, “The Peak’s audience, even though they could only hear us on our stream and HD2 signal, has been impressively dedicated. So many people discovered their new favorite song playing for the first time on 102.7 FM and we want to continue that discovery on the radio and showcasing new bands in THE PEAK Live Lounge!”

The Peak’s promise to its listeners is more music every hour. When the music stops for ads, it will be for no more than 2 minutes.
