Judah & The Lion “Floating In The Night” (Cletus The Van)

Listen & Download HERE.

Nashville’s Judah & The Lion released “Floating In The Night” on September 16th.

Lead singer Judah Akers says, “Floating in the Night is about how a failed relationship can cause you to lash out in all directions – be it over-drinking, picking fights with friends and having a general ‘screw it’ attitude. Not the healthiest place to be, but it was part of the healing for me.”

It’s the follow up to the lead single “Long Dark Night” from their fifth album The Process released via the band’s own label, Cletus The Van Records on May 10th. The album was inspired by Judah’s personal life and struggles. Inspired by Kübler-Ross’ five stages of grief, the album became a song cycle through the stages of grief through the lens of eventual forgiveness and hope.

Judah & The Lion’s fall tour begins October 4th. Find the tour dates HERE.

The All-American Rejects “Flagpole Sitta” (SPIN Records/Greater Than Distribution)

Listen & Download HERE.

Stillwater, Oklahoma 4-piece The All-American Rejects released “Flagpole Sitta” and accompanying video today.

The Harvey Danger cover song came to fruition when AAR started touring last summer for the first time in over a decade. “This naturally led to many late-night bus hangs in the front lounge,” says the band. “We’ve always felt that if an idea survives a hangover, then it’s probably a good one. ‘Flagpole Sitta’ was such an idea, born of a late-night, post-show, adrenaline-fueled drive,. We recorded it because we wanted to see how it would fall out of us on the floor – either like a hot bag of shit, or a vibe. It was also a good excuse to see if the 4 of us could stand each other for a week in the studio after 7 years of silence. Turns out it was alright. As for what’s coming after it, we will leave that up to the divine feminine. If she wants it, she’ll get it.”

The band’s first breakthrough singles include “Swing, Swing,” “Dirty Little Secret,” “Move Along,” and “Gives You Hell.”

AAR will be playing Oceans Calling Festival on September 27 and make a return to When We Were Young Festival on October 19-20.

Dropkick Murphys “Sirens” (Dummy Luck / PIAS)

Listen & Download HERE.

Boston’s Dropkick Murphys released “Sirens” on September 19th.

Addressing the growing divide in America, frontman Ken Casey warns of the billionaires profiting from the division: “For nearly a decade, the division between red and blue, right and left, has grown deeper, darker and uglier — dividing families, and ending friendships. Nobody enjoys this more than the billionaires, who are making record profits off the blood, sweat, and tears of the working class. They love it when we fight amongst ourselves, because their biggest fear is us joining together to come after them…THE REAL ENEMY.”

The band’s breakthrough single “I’m Shipping Up To Boston” was released in 2005. Dropkick Murphys has released 12 albums to date and just released a documentary called, “This Machine Rising” on YouTube. Check it out HERE. They will have a new album in 2025.

Dropkick Murphys return to the road for a North American fall tour joined by punk legends Pennywise beginning September 24th in New York City with festival performances at Louder Than Life, Punk In Drublic, and Aftershock. Find the tour dates HERE

 Gigi Perez “Sailor Song” (Island/Republic)

Listen & Download HERE.

New Jersey’s Gigi Perez released “Sailor Song” on September 19th.

The now Florida-based artist blends folk, indie, and rock. She came on the scene in 2021 after releasing “Celene,” a song dedicated to her sister who had recently passed away.

Gigi’s songs are extremely emotional, driven by a powerful vocal delivery with topics such as queer love, faith, and mental health in the middle of her songs. Following large momentum with “Sailor Song” on TikTok,

Gigi has upcoming tour dates in October. Find the tour dates HERE.
