Local Media San Diego XTRA-FM (91X)/San Diego ups APD/MD/aftenooner Hilary Doneux to Brand Manager replacing Garett Michaels, who announced last week he was moving back to the Pacific Northwest to take on a new role as General Manager of Non-Comm KSER/Everett, WA. 91X has also officially announced the return of Marty Whitney to host mornings, as first reported on #HAPPENS 6/11/25.

Local Media San Diego GM Gregg Wolfson added, “While we are sorry to see Garett go, we are excited that he will remain on the 91X Team as a consultant to the station. Hilary has earned the promotion to Brand Manager and will do an amazing job moving 91X forward. Likewise, we will be bringing Marty back home to host 91X mornings where he belongs.
