Luke Pritchard says, “I never expected to be the frontman of a band but when I was a teenager at music college I was playing a song I wrote “sofa song” on the street and was approached by Mr Hugh Harris who asked if I had more songs - that was the birth of the band!” The Kooks latest single “Sunny Baby” is from the band’s new album, Never/Know, out May 9th. Arcade Fire To Release New Album, Pink Elephant, On May 9
Arcade Fire announces their seventh album Pink Elephant will be released on May 9th. The 10 track collection was produced by Win Butler, Régine Chassagne and Daniel Lanois. The term “pink elephant” refers to that paradoxical effect where the effort to suppress a thought leads to it being impossible to avoid. The album announcement arrives with a new single "Year Of The Snake" lassic buoyed by the enveloping warmth of Régine’s vocals and features her Arcade Fire debut on bass, and Win’s debut on drums.
