Garett Michaels Assumes AM Drive At 91X/San Diego With New On-Air Lineup
Local Media San Diego Alternative XTRA-FM (91X)/San Diego PD Garett Michaels takes over Morning Drive on the station from 6am-noon. Michaels says, "As of today, there are a couple of changes to the 91X weekday on-air lineup. Marty Whitney (mornings) and Zach Van Lue (afternoons) will no longer be with 91X in their full-time positions. However, they will both be staying with 91X in a part-time/fill capacity until they land full-time opportunities elsewhere." Luke Spiller Drops Debut Solo Single
The Struts frontman Luke Spiller has released “Love Will Probably Kill Me Before Cigarettes and Wine." It's the title track from his forthcoming debut solo album via Big Machine Rock. Co-written and produced by Jon Levine (Sabrina Carpenter, Dua Lipa, Drake), the song was born from a collection of poems Spiller had written as an ode to a love so dangerous it almost felt fatal.
