Omaha, Nebraska 5-piece 311 released their new single “You’re Gonna Get” on June 7th. It’s the band’s first new music in 5 years. 311 lead singer/guitarist Nick Hexum said, “The story behind the lyrics to You’re Gonna Get It is going back into the mindset of when we were young, and dumb and doing a lot of crazy stuff. Sometimes getting away with it, sometimes with consequences. And I’m going in and out of the first person saying to myself, ‘get your stuff together! Or else you’re gonna get it.’” 311 has released 13 albums along with two greatest hits releases and have sold over 9 million records in the U.S. The band’s big radio hits include: “Down,” “Love Song,” “Don’t Tread On Me,” “Amber,” “All Mixed Up,” “Come Original,” “Creatures For Awhile,” “Hey You,” and “Sunset In July.” 311 will play multiple dates in Colorado June 29-30 before heading out on tour with Neon Trees and AWOLNATION beginning July 20th in Cincinnati.
