Los Angeles trio Bad Suns released “Communicating” on January 30th. The feel-good single is their first new music since 2023’s Infinite Joy. Lead singer Cristo Bowman explains, “I was driving through Hollywood, palm trees all around me; it struck me as a quintessentially southern Californian moment. I wanted to write a song which captured the essence of what I was experiencing right then and there, as I was suddenly aware of being at the beginning of a new and important chapter in my life. My fiancé and I had just celebrated the 12 year anniversary of our first date, the day before, and we were now in the midst of planning our wedding. Lyrically, I was inspired to reflect and sift through my memories of our earliest times together, back when we couldn’t have possibly predicted what the future held in store for us.” Bad Suns will be touring with Finneas from February 13-March 5.
