KFRR (New Rock 104.1)/Fresno Powers Up New Transmitter
One Putt Broadcasting Alternative KFRR (New Rock 104.1)/Fresno replaced its old transmitter with a new Nautel Transmitter yesterday (10/17) to provide the station better coverage and sound quality throughout the Central Valley.
The new station transmitter was installed at Eshom Point, adjacent to Sequoia National Park, powers up today (10/18) with a signal upgrade. KFRR is expecting a significant increase in listenership from Bakersfield to Merced.
KFRR PD Jason Squires said, “This is going to be awesome for the New Rock 104.1 brand & the central valley. Along with the technical aspect of all this, it really shows what local ownership is about and believing in being great local broadcasters from all facets.”
John Ostlund, President of One Putt Broadcasting, said, “When we upgraded 105.5 FM to Nautel, prior to launching The Legend, we were so impressed with its performance, we committed to buying two more; one for 95.7 The Fox and another for New Rock 104.1.”
