WWCD Ltd. Alternative WWCD (CD92.9)/Columbus, OH signed off at midnight (2/1) ending the station’s 33 year history on the radio dial, that began as CD101 under owner Randy Malloy. Check out the local farewell coverage from WCMH-TV NBC4 HERE.
The final hours were streamed on YouTube with “Radio Nowhere” co-host Adam Latek and owner Randy Malloy in-studio for the final hour sharing stories and giving a shout out to all the people that were instrumental in the station’s 33 year history on the radio dial, including the late-Andy “Andyman” Davis and Mase Brazelle.
As previously reported earlier this month (January 5), WWCD’s LMA with Delmar Media ends with a new Alternative station launching as “93X” with new call letters WXGT on its double AM/FM translator.
