Wednesday Alternative Artist Discovery #Happens
Happy Wednesday! Have you checked out #Happens Alternative Artist Discovery with Slow Joy. It’s the solo project from Esteban Flores, who grew up in Carlsbad, New Mexico and moved to Dallas after his mom died. His new single “Gruesome” was released last week and he says, “I was talking to a few friends about how easy it is to feel numb nowadays. It seems like it takes exceptionally horrible things to happen to get us to see humanity in others. I just don’t want to need things to be gruesome to feel them.” Thanks to Amy Kaplan from Mick Music for VIP Access Get to know Slow Joy on Artist Discovery.
Fontaines D.C. “It’s Amazing To Be Young” is #1 Most Added for the second-consecutive week on the Mediabase Alternative Add Board. Congrats to Beggars Group’s Risa Matsuki, Brien Terranova & The Fontaines D.C. team! The band’s new single is already inside the Top 30 on the Alternative chart.
