Los Angeles artist Ava Maybee released “Call It What You Want” on May 7th. It’s from her self-released debut EP, Orange Drive out May 16th.
Ava is the daughter of Chad Smith (The Red Hot Chili Peppers). She says, “I wrote ‘Call It What You Want’ about a friendship breakup I went through a couple years back that I could never write about until now. The song is very straightforward and simply put but deeply emotional. I love it very much!!”
You may seen Ava Maybee on American Idol. She will be playing BottleRock Festival on May 24th, Summerfest on June 19th, and Warped Tour Long Beach in July. She begins The Gold Star Sticker Tour on May 28th in Seattle. Find the tour dates HERE.
