Wednesday Alternative Artist Discovery #Happens

June 11th, 2025

Happy Wednesday! This week’s #HAPPENS Alternative Artist Discovery is Arrows in Action. The trio met at the University Of Gainesville and relocated to Nashville in 2021. The band admits to being pretty funny and says, “Cheekbones is about falling for someone you’d do absolutely anything for, even if it feels dangerous. Vampirism felt like the perfect analogy for this dynamic. It allowed us to juxtapose these darker sounds and lyrics with others that kept the song in a really fun, danceable space.” Big thanks to Nick Bedding from Nettwerk for VIP Access. Get to know Arrows in Action on Artist Discovery Of The Week.

The Lumineers “A**hole (First We Ever Me)” is #1 Most Added this week on the Mediabase Alternative Add Board. Congrats to Karen Glauber, Ted Volk & The Lumineers team!
