1. Please introduce yourself and give us the backstory on how the band got started.

We’re The Paradox, a pop-punk band out of Atlanta that came together in June 2024. Made up of Eric Dangerfield (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Donald Bryant (bass), Christopher “Xelan” Bernard (lead guitar, background vocals), and Percy “PC3” Crews (drums). Eric got into pop punk and started writing songs in 2023, including Ms. Lauren, Kaitlyn, and Imani. Donald learned bass and moved out to Atlanta because Eric said they should start a band. Eric made a Facebook post asking about anyone wanting to start a pop punk band and 6 months later Xelan found it and responded. They had chemistry from day one. Xelan had known Percy for years and told Eric he knew just the drummer to call. 

2. How would you describe your music?

Loud and simple. 

3. Who are your biggest influences?

blink-182, Sum 41, Green Day, New Found Glory, The Beach Boys. 

4. What was the inspiration behind your current single, 'Get The Message'?

Us talking about all the people that told us we had to have a plan B or back up plan for music when we knew that’s what we were gonna do our whole lives.

5. What would surprise people most about you?

We like to bowl.
