Veteran Rock Radio Voice Joe Kelly Passed Away

Joe Kelly, hailed as "the go-to" rock voiceover talent since the 1980s, passed away at the age of 82.  At one time, Kelly was the voice of ABC-TV, Radio City Music Hall, United Airlines, and stations like KLOS/Los Angeles, WNEW-FM/New York, WLUP/Chicago, and others. Jade Springart, PD of Beasley Active Rock 101 WRIF/Detroit, has been promoted to Director of Rock Programming, adding Classic Rock 94.7 WCSX to her duties.    Springart has been with WRIF for the past 17 years, starting as a promotions intern and working her way up to APD, MD, and midday host before being named Program Director in August 2021.
