Pearl Jam ‘Dark Matter’ Lands Cumulus Media’s ‘Your Music Plus’ Feature

Cumulus Media announces the latest installment of its exclusive multi-part audio series, Your Music Plus, featuring exclusive insights and personal stories from Pearl Jam about the making of their new single, “Dark Matter.” The 8-week campaign launched today (2/20) on Cumulus Media’s Alternative and Rock stations. The new Pearl Jam single releases on February 13th is from the band's forthcoming 12th studio album, Dark Matter, coming April 19th via Monkeywrench/Republic Records. Val Garris Exits Cumulus Media

After over two decades at Cumulus Media, Val Garris exits his position as Corporate VP/Programming/Format VP. Over the course of his career, Garris has worked across multiple music formats, including Alternative, Rock, Triple A, Classic Rock, Classic Hits, Adult Hits, Top 40.  He is an expert at scheduling along with research design & analysis. Vampire Weekend Releases Tour Dates With First New Music In 5 Years

Vampire Weekend follows last week’s album announcement (Only God Was Above Us out 4/5 via Columbia) with a 39-date God Was Above Us North American headline tour. Produced by Live Nation, the tour includes three unique two-show engagements that will see Vampire Weekend play Saturday night shows followed by Sunday morning sets at the Greek Theater in Berkeley CA, KettleHouse Amphitheater in Bonner MT and New York’s Madison Square Garden. Vampire Weekend has also released a pair of advance tracks to showcase distinctly different aspects of Only God Was Above Us, while feeling very much parts of the same whole.
