Nashville-based 4-piece Badflower released their emotional new single “Paws” on April 4th. It’s from the band’s forthcoming No Place Like Home album set to arrive on June 20th. Written about one of the most difficult human experiences, frontman Josh Katz walks us through the grief of losing a pet, offering up a heavy dose of catharsis with pristine emo throwback production. “Our new song, ‘Paws,’ is about losing a pet,” Katz explains. “It’s a very serious thing, and it’s something I’ve been through, and I know a lot of other people have been through. I live on a farm by myself in the middle of nowhere, so I don’t have very many friends. My animals are my whole world.
