Nashville’s Judah & The Lion released “Floating In The Night” on September 16th. Lead singer Judah Akers says, “Floating in the Night is about how a failed relationship can cause you to lash out in all directions – be it over-drinking, picking fights with friends and having a general ‘screw it’ attitude. Not the healthiest place to be, but it was part of the healing for me.” It’s the follow up to the lead single “Long Dark Night” from their fifth album The Process released via the band’s own label, Cletus The Van Records on May 10th. The album was inspired by Judah’s personal life and struggles. Inspired by Kübler-Ross’ five stages of grief, the album became a song cycle through the stages of grief through the lens of eventual forgiveness and hope. Judah & The Lion’s fall tour begins October 4th. Find the tour dates HERE.
