1. Please introduce yourself and give us the backstory on how the band got started.
We are Militarie Gun, we started in March 2020, being that there was nothing else going on we did nothing else besides write songs and practice. As soon as we could, we transitioned all that energy into touring and have been running nonstop ever since.
2.How would you describe your music?
Aggressive and catchy.
3. Who are your biggest influences?
Guided By Voices has always been a guiding principle of the band, we try to write as much as we can but prioritize editing all the songs down to be the best we can, instead of releasing everything.
4. What was the inspiration behind your current single?
We wanted to take our classic rock influences and make them feel modern and exciting. The goal of every song is to make a chorus that gets its hooks into you while not losing its edge, seems like we accomplished that here.
5. What would surprise people most about you?
Between all of us we have too many cats.
