ALTERNATIVE NEW MUSIC DISCOVERY
The Struts “Can’t Stop Talking” (Big Machine Rock)
Listen & Download HERE.
British 4-piece The Struts released Can’t Stop Talking” today. It’s the LA-based band’s first new music since their fourth album, Pretty Vicious in 2023.
Lead singer Luke Spiller said, “I really wanted to try something that the band had never done before. It was very off the cuff, and everyone in the room was laughing a lot. Sometimes that’s a great sign. What’s the point in not enjoying the process? I think that’s why we can get away with a song that is beautifully bizarre. It’s because I actually mean the lyrics, even if they do come across light-hearted. Believe me. I lived through that character in the song many times.”
The Struts first erupted onto the scene with their Top 5 Alternative single, “Could’ve Been Me” in 2013. Following the release of their debut, 2016’s Everybody Wants, The Struts immediately became a must-see live band.

Jonah says, “‘God Needs The Devil’ is a song about the human condition. It’s the persisting struggle to be good while having a dependence, or at least a false sense of dependence, on something evil. It means so much to me, and I hope you can find some piece of yourself in it.”
Jonah first released “Save My Soul” from his self-written and produced 6-song EP, The Roads released in December 2023.. Jonah played at the Austin City Limits Music Festival 2024.
