Jed “The Fish” Gould, RIP

Edwin Jed Fish Gould III, aka "Jed The Fish," passed away early this morning. He was 69.    A post on Jed's Facebook page reads: "At 6 am on April 14, 2025, the world lost one of its most unique and brilliant personalities. Jed The Fish passed away peacefully in his beloved home, and the world will never be the same. RIP Jed, go be with Alice."   Jed did the afternoon drive shift on LA's KROQ from 1978 until 2012.   He later worked at KCSN and KLOS before briefly returning to KROQ's Roq of the '80s HD-2 channel.

Twin Citiies’ 92 KQRS Launches New Rock Programming

This morning, Twin Cities Rock station 92KQRS-FM unveiled its new music offerings, adding artists like Nirvana, R.E.M., Green Day, and U2, alongside staples like Tom Petty, Led Zeppelin, and The Rolling Stones.    They've also updated their on-air lineup, starting with Gorman in the Morning with Fletcher and Ryder, hosted by Steve Gorman. Gorman is a nationally syndicated radio personality and founding member of The Black Crowes.    Paul Fletcher will also host middays on 92KQRS.     Jade will be heard on 92KQRS weekdays from 3:00pm-7:00pm.   James Kurdziel, Director of Content and Programming, 92KQRS, said via press release:

RETURN TO DUST

The dual-vocal attack, heavy guitars, and ‘90s rock-worshipping hooks of RETURN TO DUST have earned them a team of influential industry players behind them. Producer Jim Kaufman (Everclear, Night Riots, Helmet) was first aboard, encouraging smalltown Texans Matt Bierlawsk (vocals/guitar) Graham Stanush (vocals/bass), and Sebastian Gonzalez (guitar) to move to Los Angeles, where they eventually recruited London Hudson (drums). SharpTone Records Makes Jackie Andersen Head Of Label
