STEVE PERRY Signs With Dark Horse Records

Dark Horse Records has signed a deal with STEVE PERRY. Perry's first release with Dark Horse Records, founded by the late GEORGE HARRISON, will be The Season 3, a holiday album, due on November 8.  “I am so pleased to announce that I have just signed with George Harrison’s label, Dark Horse Records,” the former Journey frontman said in a statement. “I’ve so much music in me that has yet to be heard. To be able to work with a team of people who support and respect my creative expressions, is a dream come true.”  On The Season 3, Perry said:

BREAKING BENJAMIN Signs With BMG

BREAKING BENJAMIN is now a BMG artist.  The multiplatinum rock band signed a worldwide deal with the massive indie label, which will release the band's first new music since 2018. Their most recent release was the 2020 compilation album Aurora (Hollywood Records).  In a statement, the band said: "Working on these new songs has been a fresh experience for all of us. JAKE E LEE Expected To Recover After Shooting

JAKE E. LEE, best known as one of OZZY OSBOURNE 's most formidable former axemen, is expected to recover after being shot multiple times in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the early morning hours of October 15.  SiriusXM's EDDIE TRUNK reported on social media that Lee "was hit three times — in the chest, arm and foot. Bullets missed all major organs except [the] lung. But he is doing well and expected to make a full recovery." SHAVO ODADJIAN’s New Band Plays SiriusXM Garage

SEVEN HOURS AFTER VIOLET, led by SYSTEM OF A DOWN bassist Shavo Odadjian, played their first live show on Monday (October 7) at the SiriusXM Garage in Los Angeles, California. The band's self-titled debut album is due via Sumerian Records on Friday, October 11. The following day, Shavo's new performs at Mayhem Fest, a one-day revival of the Rockstar Mayhem Tour, which last went on the road in 2015. Seven Hours After Violet will be joined by Sumerian Records labelmates Bad Omens, Poppy, and Kittie, as well as Parkway Drive, Architects, Jinjer, August Burns Red, and more.

BJ SHEA Leaves Seattle’s KZOK

  BJ Shea announced his exit from iHeart Media Classic Rock 102.5 KZOK in Seattle via a short Instagram post.   “Hey all, just wanted to let you know that I am no longer on KZOK," wrote Shea, who started at KZOK less than a year ago. "I can’t comment any further at this time… Stay tuned.” Seattle rock listeners have heard Shea on the air for roughly 25 years. (His career began in the Boston area.) Big Loud Rock Adds Zach Siegal-Eisman

Zach Siegal-Eisman has joined Big Loud Rock as the Big Loud Records' alt/rock imprint's new VP of Digital and Viral Marketing.
