The 9th annual Music Industry Reunion gathered over 120 of the rock industry’s finest at the Sagebrush Cantina in Calabasas, California, on May 22, 2024. 

 

In a press release, former AllAccess publisher Joel Denver called the gathering “the best one yet.”

 

KROQ’s David Baum added, ” [It was] so wonderful seeing so many old buddies from the truly great days of KROQ when things were done that could not have been done at any other time in history.” 

 

Frazer Smith, legendary radio personality, actor, and stand-up comedian, hosted the Reunion’s In Memoriam celebration of unforgettable friends and colleagues: Dusty Street, Geno Michellini, and Jim Ladd, ending with a toast to their memory and a reminder of how fortunate we are to join to together at an event like this.

 

While mini-reunions of Radio’s KTYD and KROQ blasted, record labels A&M, MCA, EMI/Capitol Records, and many more met up and swapped stories.

 

Organizers Jon Scott and Kenny Ryback welcomed folks who travel from as far away as New York and Florida.
