BJ Shea announced his exit from iHeart Media Classic Rock 102.5 KZOK in Seattle via a short Instagram post. 

 “Hey all, just wanted to let you know that I am no longer on KZOK,” wrote Shea, who started at KZOK less than a year ago. “I can’t comment any further at this time… Stay tuned.”

Seattle rock listeners have heard Shea on the air for roughly 25 years. (His career began in the Boston area.) He was at Audacy Rock 99.9 KISW from 2006 till late last year, where he joined co-host Sarah Schiller. 

Earlier today, October 8, he added a follow-up comment:

“Much [love] to all of you for the very kind words of support. And you know what?!? Much love to the less supportive people to[o]. Thanks for taking the time to post anything. I will update you as soon as I can.”
